Description

A really good looking Oak Coffer, early 18th century with wonderful carved rosettes and dimples in the frieze and stiles with a very interesting and unusual plate escutcheon.
It has a wonderful colour and patina. It is in fine original condition apart from very old strap hinges which are replacements. It has a three panelled front, panelled sides and a flat two plank top, this is very heavy solid coffer.

Dimensions approx : 44 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 28 inches tall.

This wonderful old coffer would grace any lounge, landing or hall in the home, a really good interiors piece.
