Rare Victorian Cheval Mirror with Lacquered Chinoi


Description
A rare Victorian Cheval Mirror with a lacquered chinoiserie design and a top quality replacement oval bevelled glass plate manufactured by "Pilkingtons"Made in Walnut, the reeded columns are topped by stylish wooden turned finials, the base colour of the lacquer is blue with figures in various colours, There are two small areas where the lacquer is missing but these are not obvious. The mirrors has castors for ease of movement and brass fittings where the mirror attaches to the stand, it dates c.1860.
This a wonderful period piece and a must for anyone looking for something really stylish and different......not to be missed.
