Description

A rather fine mahogany dining table from the 1800s in nice tidy condition. This dining table was sold to a client a good number of years ago and we are now selling on their behalf owing to a change of circumstances. There is a also a set of balloon back chairs that have come from the same house which are a perfect fit for this table.
This example extends and has two leaves that can be taken out so it closes much smaller if required. It is a lovely quality table with a fine turned leg and a substantial Joseph Fitter wind gear with a brass plaque as can be seen in one of the pictures. When fully extended it would take a further leaf. This table is in really good condition and really does not look as if it has been in use for many years, great care has clearly been taken of it over its recent past. There are only tiny signs of wear and some light fade from the sun at one end, but overall far better than most that come available but without having to add a considerable cost of restoration. A lovely example at a keen price of only £1100. (Table is now sold, chairs are available) Chairs are £950
