Description

A rather interesting wall clock which we suspect dates from the late 1800s. It is a good size in walnut and is in nice tidy condition. The movement which also has a strike on a gong is German, nice quality and is working fine, if a little dirty. We have had this clock with local horologists Country Clocks to be set in beat and to be regulated. We suspect this clock may be French, the writing on the working barometer is in French. There is a working thermometer too. It is not a common shape and certainly a rather special example with having all three items in the carved case. The pretty hands are brass and the numbers on the exposed face are enamel. A lot of clock for a very keen price, especially as it is in good condition and everything is working as it should be. Dont hesitate to give us a call if you would like to discuss. 01565 874075 (picture 2 is more the true colour of this clock)
