Description

This oak panel has some good crisp carving. For sale on behalf of a client who paid £400 for this to go into a restaurant for a bar front. This was never used and has been in their garage ever since. It has been outside in its life and would not polish easily, however it would paint and could then look really great. We thought it might make a fabulous and most unusual head board maybe. It could of course be used as a partition which we suspect it was part of originally or maybe a bar or counter front, the reason it was aquired originally. The carvings (a little gothic maybe in design) are pretty good as mentioned above and on one side the linen fold panels are very good quality and nice and fine detail.
We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
