A Bisque type figure of a small girl with pet dog. This is quite likely to be the daughter of English Artist A J Elsley who was very popular in the late Victorian era. He was famed for being an excellent painter of children and animals and many of his works were copied onto Crystolea, a popular item of the time. His daughter was painted on a number of his works, this is from the same time and we suggest she is the model for this figure.
We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
