This is an antique boot scraper and pull. An English, cast iron door entrance shoe cleaner, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1850. A fine doorway scraper of the time of the Great Exhibition

Of generous proportion and substantial form

Pair of mounting holes cast into the base, for secure fixture
Illegible maker's mark cast to the underside with pattern number 47
