Description

This is a lovely piece - the top is glass reverse painted and then with the use of foil to immitate butterfly wing the picture is adorable depicting a two young children the young lady dressed in a fabulous crinoline dress and bonnet. C. 1940 it has survived in good order, set to a white metal (probably silver plated) box. Measuring c. 5" inch x 3.5" inch and standing on 4 small ball feet - a little bit different, it opens to reveal a clean wooden interior, with a high polish steel mirror top. Pre-loved it does show some signs commensurate with age and having been pre-loved, but I love it and I am hoping it will find its way to an appreciative buyer!.
