These are a superb set of genuine vintage antique gentleman's dress studs - c.1890-1900 - they have wonderful faceted cut ruby red stones set to a gold metal - Gorgeous! - Carefully preserved in their original velvet & silk lined, gilt tooled hard case box, they are absolutely stunning! (The box whcih is in good condition is marked J Mordan - goldsmithy jeweller and silversmith, 6 Argyle Terrace, Rye Lane, Peckham) - There are no hallmarks and without which I cannot confirm if they are precious metal or stones, but they are top quality, dating late 1800's they are just a little bit special and I doubt they have seen the light of day for over 100 years! - Don't miss them!
