Stunning! - This gorgeous, deep pink, guilloche Enamel cigarette case is a delight! - Fully Hallmarked for English Sterling Silver, it was made by respected Silversmiths, Mappin & Webb and bears the Coronation assay mark for Birmingham 1935. Measuring c.5.8 cm x 7.9cm, it is in excellent order, with no damage to the enamel and fully engine turned to the rear, all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a gilded interior, full set of hallmarks to both sides and the original retainer. It also has the initial "D" engraved. Now very popular as a special visiting card holder, it would have originally been a very expensive cigarette case.
