Description

A 17th century style English lantern clock signed Robert Watts of Stamford. A well engraved dial and surmounted by a cast bell. A silvered chapter ring with blued steel hands. Side opening doors with a Tudor Rose and standing on turned feet. Engraved front and side frets to the top. A 30 hour, weight driven mechanism of good quality. striking the hours on the bell. An oak wall bracket. Circa 1890.

This has been made to a high standard, they were often made in the late Victorian period.
