Description

A 1969 Benrus US Military issue, Vietnam War era wristwatch. A black dial, with triangular lume points surrounding each hour marker. The hours and minutes are marked by large white Arabic numerals, with a 24 hour scale to the inner. Lume filled 'pencil' hands with a counter balanced sweep seconds. The dial is a classic example of a military watch specification from the period, with extremely legible features.

A gunmetal style case, with a deep grey finish. The case is of a slim design, with a stepped bezel with a steel winding crown. A flat case back with various military inscriptions, including issue date of April 1969, fed stock number and order number. Reference GS - 06S - 2014. Model number DTU 2/AP.
