Description

A fine quality English Georgian Regency period fusee mantel/library clock. A rosewood case with choice veneers of rich colour. A carved pediment flanked by two tapered finials. A shaped arch with silvered dial masking. Gilded brass side glass apertures. A recessed brass panel to the base. A very well silvered engraved dial with swirled central engraving and blued steel hands. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism with transportation locking nut. Circa 1825.
