Description

A pretty posy vase in sought after Queen's Burmese ware. These delightful pieces were made in the latter part of the 19th Century and are most likely the work of the Webb's. The body has the characteristic satin finish with graduated pink into cream. The uranium content causes the vase to glow green under Uv light. The body has a pinched waist, ribbing and a flared, undulating rim. A collectable example, this lovely piece would make an excellent gift idea being both practical and decorative.
