Description

19th century walnut cased mantel clock with an 8 day movement made by Junghans, the worlds largest clock-maker at this time. The movement works well, it has twin chimes and etched with the eight pointed-star symbol and "Junghans", circa 1890.

This is a good time piece in Walnut with Ormolu mounts depicting Caryatid on the front corners, the clock has three turned finials and an etched silvered brass dial, with black enamel Arabic numerals which measures 5” in diameter.

The overall size is approximate 20” high x 12.5” wide.
