Description

We are selling this lovely quality 19th Century Japanese satsuma jar and cover. This piece is traditionally and intricately decorated with raised gold elders in the garden and home. Rich deep blue background decorated with raised gold and silver flowering chrysanthemums and foliage, the gold being a right golden colour and also a rose gold colour. The piece stands on three small feet and is clearly signed kinkozan to base.

Measuring 4 1/2 inches in height with diameter 3 1/2 inches. Lovely original condition appropriate for age please see all photos as they form part of description. The quality of work in this piece is difficult to see just from the photos.
