Description

A pair of early 20th Century Chinese famille vert barrel shape garden seats painted with musicians playing in a garden. The sides and tops of the seats are pierced. These piercings are surrounded by Chinese designs which are repeated in the wide bands with enamel bosses which border the garden scene. The condition of both seats is very good. With striking colours and traditional Chinese decoration, these seats would be an important addition to a garden room, conservatory or hall way.
