Description

A luxurious purple leather covered jewellery box by Waring and Gillow with Bramar lock, dating from the Edwardian period. This antique jewellery box has an inset brass drop handle and two blank discs to the top, these are for initials if required. The interior has a removable tray which sits above a lower storage compartment. The box is lined throughout with purple silk velvet. The box which carries the Waring and Gillow stamp, is in excellent condition with perfect hinges, lining and original working key. This very desirable early 20th Century jewellery box would be the ideal gift for someone special or a wonderful self indulgence!
