Description

A Victorian toleware tray painted with mixed flowers and foliage on an unusual yellow ground. Carrying handles are incorporated within the deep rim which is painted with a continuous border of leaves. This toleware tray is in reasonably good condition, there are a few marks to the painted surface, these do not detract from the appearance of the tray and are as one would expect of an item in use since the mid 19th Century. A really beautiful and highly decorative item.
