This Pair of Edwardian bedside chests were made circa 1900 and are made of Walnut.
Each bedside chest has 3 graduated drawers with the original cast brass swing handle.
Pairs of bedside chests/cabinets are incredibly hard to source, as they were not made at the time as people had a different lifestyle, and so were not required.
Cabinetmakers adapted large Edwardian dressing tables that are/were redundant for the and made them into items that are relevant for today’s modern home.
This is a pure sense of recycling and now rather than not being used, the original cabinetmakers fine work can be taken advantage of as you enjoy them in your home.
