Description

Mahogany twin pillar dining table
Here we have to offer you this solid mahogany dining table on twin pillar supports. Made in the style of a table used in the Regency and late Georgian period.
This type of table, has the advantage of not having legs at each corner and so it enables you to sit more people around it.
Our dining table has 2 leaf insertions, that can be used in any combination for use.
Therefore you can use this table with no leaves, or using one or both of the extra leaves.
This table stands on 2 pillars, one to each end, consisting of a gun barrel turned centre column and then with 3 moulded reeded legs coming off each, and ending with square brass toes with rolling castors under.
This table would have been made in a high end workshop in the mid part of the 20thc., and designed perfectly for a modern home, using the classic and desirable Georgian styling.
Imagine enjoying socialising around this table with your family and friends, to dine at such tables add to the experience as it looks and feels so special.
