Description
C. Wheeler, Bridgnorth, c.1825-30.A good quality classic 4 dial Georgian 10" wheel barometer. The case is veneered in figured flame mahogany and edged with boxwood and ebony stringing, with an architectural pediment. All four of the silvered dials are very well engraved, the level plate being signed 'C. Wheeler, Bridgnorth '. The 10" silvered dial has a concave cast brass bezel fitted with a convex glass.
Height 42".
