19thC Folk Art 'Thatched Cottage' Treen String Box

Description
A charming 19th century folk art treen string box in the form of a thatched cottage.The body has been naively but attractively carved and decorated with topiary trees, beams, windows and doors the top into the form of a thatch roof with the string to be extracted from the chimney.
There is a small nibble to the base rim (please see photographs), otherwise the box remains in a very good condition throughout.
A lovely little piece.
