Description

A fantastic antique (19th Century) octagonal pine torchere converted into a floor lamp. The base of the octagonal lamp sits on four reeded gold gilt feet with further gold gilded moulding decoration to the top of the base. At the top of the tapering stem of the lamp is the original octagonal mahogany candle holder with a bronze inner. The antique pine wood has a fantastic, deep and rich patina with minor historical repairs on show that add to the charm of the standard lamp. Newly rewired. Please Note! The vintage lamp shade is for display only, but can be included on request. The lamp shade does have small defects commensurate with age, but not noticeable unless closely inspected, thus it is still perfectly useable (but not new).
