Half Hunter Pocket Watch


A silver JW Benson, London top wind half hunter pocket watch, hallmarked for Silver Birmingham 1935, made in Switzerland. The watch is complete with silver chain.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued double spade hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: "J.W. Benson, London". The protective original glass is in great condition.

Movement: The anchor lever movement has 15 jewels and is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed “JW Benson, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made”.

Case: The watch lies in a silver ALD case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is stamped and hallmarked for Silver Birmingham 1935 and stamped ALD and numbered: 647493. The front of the half hunter silver case has blue enamel Roman numerals.
