A silver verge keywind pocket watch with a painted dial, made in England in the 1800’s. The pocket watch is complete with a key.

Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer five-minute divisions and moon hands. The painted dial has the scene of a hunter and lion. There is a winding hole at the two.

Movement: The English verge gilt fusee movement has a pierced balance bridge, three arm balance and silver disc regulator. The movement has nice engravings all around with round pillars. The movement is in good working order however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.

Case: The watch lies in a silver case with a smooth finish. The case is numbered: 24539 with the casemakers initials: C&F.
