Victoran Silver Fruit Knife
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1860
With the maker`s mark - AT, for Alfred Taylor


A delightful, medium sized fruit knife.
The blade opens and closes correctly - snaps at 90 degrees and snaps at fully open, and snaps closed.
Mother of Pearl facings to both sides, with cut away decoration all round the edge. Note the unusual three sided shape at the non hinge end.
Ornate decorated silver back. Silver cartouche, initialled - ALT

Beautiful condition. 163 years old. No undescribed faults.

Closed length:- 75 mms.
Weight:- 19.4 grams.
