Description

Silver Small Cigarette Case.
Made in, and hallmarked for, Birmingham 1928.
Has the maker`s mark - H W Ld,, for
Henry Williamson of Spencer Street, Birmingham.

A super little case in absolutely unused and very clean condition
Just see the pictures!!!!!!!!!!
Opens with a spring loaded thumb press, and snaps shut.

Attractive flower decoration to the front and floral scrolls on the back, and a diagonal, vacant cartouche - front top left.
Beautiful original gilding on the inside - a few darker spots that I dare not rub off because it will spoil the gilding.
Original blue elastic straps that, unfortunately, are perished and will need replacing.

Superb original condition - no faults.
Measures:- 80 x 57 x 11 millimetres / 3.15 x 2.24 x 0.43 inches.
Weight:-46.6 grams / 1.50 ounces.
