A very large Dorcas Thimble.Made by Charles Horner.
In excellent, used condition.

CH 4 DORCAS
Dorcas is a trade name belonging to Charles Horner.
It refers to a steel thimble overlaid with a coat of silver.
Dates between 1890 and 1920.
An excellent thimble, in very good condition.
No holes, dents or damage.
It does have needle scratches - caused be use.
Height:- 21 millimetres / 0.83 inches.
Internal width:- 16.6mms. / 0.65 ins.
Weight:- 7.3 grams / 0,23 ounces.
