Unusual Early 20thC French Easel Mirror

Description
In eighteenth century Venetian style the central mirror framed by an ornate white metal acanthus scroll border in turn framed by a green fabric border, marked verso A DUJAY, 14 Rue de Provence PARIS. There is a brass ring present for hanging purposes to complement the easel. This example is unusual for an easel mirror because of the presence of the fabric border giving it more of a boudoir feel, the reverse has slider fasteners so that the mirror plate can be replaced, with say, a photograph.
The condition is good to fine aside from some stain to the more vulnerable fabric border. Fourteen, Rue de Provence in Paris is now Bruun Rasmussen an auctioneers office, in a very central street containing many places of cultural, historical, and architectural interest, including the Palais Garnier, home to the Paris Opera, Boulevard Haussmann and its large department stores of Galeries Lafayette and Printemps.
Whether wall mounted or sat on a dressing table, if a mirror has ever been sexy this is certainly it. Moulin Rouge anyone?
