This is an early Victorian pendant and earring suite in 15ct. yellow gold with the pendant fitted to a later Victorian 9ct. gold chain.
The earrings are both set with cabochon cut garnets and half pearls, and are unusually set with one round old cut sapphire and the other with a hexagonal cut sapphire, all in milligrain settings. The pendant is set with half pearls, oval and round cut sapphires and an octagonal step cut garnet, with a natural pearl drop suspended below.
The mix of stones produces a very unusual and yet striking set of jewellery.
All in a fitted case.
