Description

A Victorian dark blue leather travelling photograph frame.

This contains a photograph taken in Italy on what would probably have been a tour of Europe in the late 19th century. It looks like one of those wonderful studio shots.

The silver coloured surround comes out so that a new photograph can be placed inside, it has what would appear to be the original glass. The inside cover of the frame is padded so that it protects the glass and the silk lining is in lovely condition.

Overall it is in good antique condition, a little wear on the flap where it has been opened and closed.

To the reverse is a family crest.
