Early 20th-century Clark’s “Anchor” Soft Embroidery folding display cabinet, constructed in oak with brass fittings and original gold painted lettering.The top and front are clearly marked “Clark’s Soft Embroidery – Fast Colour” with the distinctive anchor logo. The cabinet opens via a clever cantilever mechanism, revealing three tiered display trays originally used to hold lengths of embroidery thread in a shop setting. Ideal for use as a collector’s piece or for display in a retail or domestic interior.
