Description

A compact 1920s microscope slide cabinet in dark-stained hardwood, fitted with twin front doors with small turned knobs and brass cup handles to the sides. Inside are a series of shallow drawers, each retaining its original ivorine labels marked for specimen types including Botanical, Insecta, and Diatomaceae.

The drawers are lined in blue and designed to accommodate standard glass slides. The cabinet shows honest surface wear consistent with long use in a laboratory or educational environment, developing a rich, deep patina over time.
