Description

Superb quality heavy brass kettle.
First impressions would indicate that this kettle is new, however a number of interesting factors suggest that it has some good age to it.
The quality of it is such that it is not a reproduction, later display piece.
There are lathe marks and a central pivot mark to underside of base - a good early sign
Traces of tooling marks to the filed edges of the handle.
Good colour brass
The spout is cast
Tinned to the interior

Certainly of a Georgian style

We would believe it to be Victorian

Above all it has a great look and is a great kitchen, display piece.
