Miniature 18th Century boxwood, dug-out casket

Description
A beautiful, wonderfully hand-made casket with sliding lid.In an elegant lime or perhaps box-wood.
It simply exudes charm.
Note the wonderfully carved little integral feet.
Gorgeous patination throughout.
The obvious age of this little piece makes it highly collectible
In stunning condition for being circa 300 years old.
Displaying it's original tool carving.
A few historic signs of previous infestation
Very minor crack to sliding vee section.
