Description

Fine mid 19th century Chinese bronze censer on stand, c1850. It has lovely form and decoration with foliage/bamboo decoration to the main body and lid. The tripod legs and handles are in the form of bamboo stems . The stand is also in the form of foliage/bamboo with 3 raised supports. The bronze has taken on great colour/patina following years of handling and the piece is in very good condition. All in all a highly decorative and tactile piece that would work well in a traditional or modern setting.
