Description
Late 19th century Chinese bronze censer,c1890.Well cast and heavy for its size at 1kg it has tripod legs with Lion masks at the top and Lion paw feet. The lid is topped with a temple Lion/Fo dog finial and it has highly stylised handles. There is a central decorative panel featuring birds ,foliage etc. Overall condition is good, original rivets attaching the finial and handles appear to have been replaced by screws at some point in its life, but this is minor.
