Description

A smart early 19th Cent bracket clock by Barraud, London. They were a family of clockmaker operating in London from 1727 up to 1880. This clock probably dates from around 1830.

The good quality mahogany case has attractive brass mounts, gilt brass side frets and original brass ball feet.

The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a nice convex painted dial and fine steel hands.

The case is in good condition but has had some minor restoration around the side frets.

The movement is in good working order and keeping good time.

The maximum dimensions are:

47cm (18.5") high
