A charming hand carved oriental wood figure of Buddha. Lovely patina. I would suspect Chinese in origin. Difficult to date but would suspect early 20th century from the colour of the base wood. In good condition with a small shrinkage crack to the inner right arm. The wood is of hardwood and probably teak.
