A sweet silver gilt sugar caster with cobalt blue liner. Super quality casting and piercing featuring figures of ladies with banners and floral swags. Fluted and pierced top finished with an acorn finial. Snug fitting bayonet top. Excellent condition.Import marks for 1905 and retailer John George Piddington. The origin of this piece is most likely French in the empire style.
