Description

A mid nineteenth century high quality miniature chest/apprentice piece chest of drawers in the Sheraton style. Two over three configuration with cross banded front and top with ebony stringing. Each drawer with original brass handles, escutcheons and internal locks with ebony stringing to the drawer edges. Drawers oak lined with neat hand cut dovetails. Pine backed. Apron shaped base front and sides with delicate bracket feet. Top in satin wood, box wood stringing and central burr walnut panel. Height 13”, length 12” and 6” width. A gorgeous piec in terms of quality and aesthetics. Condition very good with deep rich patina.
