Description

Good pair of French gilt mounted marble urn garnitures or cassolettes c.1920. Of Classical baluster urn form in a well figured burnt sienna coloured marble. With extensive and original gilded brass mounts cast as goat or ram’s heads, and floral garlands. Topped with flame finials and with a leaf detail above the stems. Very good original condition.
Dimensions: Width 8" Height 17" Depth 6".
