Description

Large late 19th.c. gilt frame wall mirror c.1890. Original 19½″ x 29″ bevelled mirror plate set within a broad carved and pierced cushion frame with the original applied frieze to the top. Original gilt finish worn to a very attractive mellow gold. Obvious spotting tarnish to the mirror and some minor repairs to the frame, generally very good condition. Top piece could be easily removed if preferred in which case it could be hung either landscape or portrait aspect.
