Description

Early 19th.c. Welsh dresser base with potboard, South Wales c.1810. Solid oak top with an applied moulding to the underside. Three drawers with cockbeaded drawer fronts and large turned wooden knobs. Straight apron with an applied moulding. Raised on four turned legs across the front with pierced brackets where they join the apron, repeated at the sides. Original open potboard display shelf with a carved bead to form a plate stand. Raised on shaped bracket front feet. Six panel across the rear and straight rear stiles. Some wear and repairs along the back edge of the top and at to the bottom of the rear stiles. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
