Impressively proportioned mirror and marble top console table c.1910. Standing 102" tall. 31"x46" mirror plate with a bevelled edge in a broad frame veneered in Tamo ash, a Japanese wood notable for its decorative grain and lustrous shimmering background. With fine inlaid detail in contrasting woods and raised mouldings. Over a bow fronted console table (height 31") with the original and well figured rouge griotte marble top. Matching veneers and inlaid detail to the frieze. Raised on tapering legs at the front with inlaid stringing and block feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
