Description

MOVEMENT Signed and numbered (10786) gilt brass verge movement, with four square pillars, engraved double foot balance cock and plate, and silver regulator disc. In complete and good condition with nice bright gilding. Running well.

DIAL Enamel dial, in reasonable condition, with just a few light scratches, a couple of light hairlines running from 1 to 3, and general fading to the painted numbers and chapter rings.

INNER CASE Silver, hallmarked for London, 1782, maker JC. Also marked with the movement serial number 786. Good condition throughout, with a few light bruises and wear to the bow. The hinge and catch are fine. The high dome crystal is fine and the bezel snaps shut nicely.

OUTER CASE Silver repousse. Very nice condition with just one tiny pin hole caused by wear to the high points of the repousse work. The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut nicely.
