Here we have a wonderful Victorian Oak writing desk c1880. As you can see the desk has outstanding colour and patina. There is a tooled and gilded leather skiver to the top. The top has a shallow Oak border with moulded edge. There are two end secret drawers to the centre and two further secret drawers at the top of the legs which are disguised as the carved flower head decorations. The legs are beautifully turned into a fantastic barley twist. There are further carved flower hards to all points and an adjoining H stretcher below. The whole sits on original casters. A stunning desk in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 120 cm wide 60 cme deep 76 cm high.
