Here we have a wonderful early Victorian Ash and Elm Windsor armchair c1840. As you can see the chair has fantastic colour and patina. There is a lovely hooped to rail and simple stick back. The sticks go through the hooped Ash arm rail and there are shaped side supports and beautifully turned arm supports. There is a delicious thick grainy Elm saddle shaped seat and well turned legs below with adjoining H stretcher. A super period Windsor armchair in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 94 cm high 56 cm wide 41 cm deep.
