A superb quality antique burr walnut inlaid sewing works table. This piece of furniture is better than average having the more desirable shaped top with tight burr walnut timber and inlaid with scrolling boxwood foliate designs. The top opening to reveal a ladies writing table with it’s original leather skiver and delightful compartments. There are a two further drawers opeing to reveal another compartmentalised section for bobbins, threads and needles and a large well drawer for all your tapestries etc. This piece is in stunning condition and stands on it’s original castors with it’s original key to lock all compartments. This would also make an ideal side lamp wine clock sofa table. Circa 1860. Measures 26”w x 16”d x 29”h
